ABOUT US

Who We Are

Living Water House is a faith-based sober living community for women rebuilding their lives in Prince George’s County, Maryland. We exist because every woman who completes treatment deserves more than a hand-off — she deserves a safe, dignified place to come home to, and a family that walks with her into what comes next.

The home we are building will offer what no facility can: structure with softness, accountability with grace, and a family that will still be your family when the year is over.

We are faith-based — not faith-required. The women who walk through these doors will come from every tradition, every story, every starting line. What we ask is willingness. What we offer is a place to do the work.

our values

What we stand for .

The principles that will shape every room, every rule, and every welcome at Living Water House.

Dignity, Always First

Every resident is greeted as a whole woman, not a case file. Her past doesn’t define how she’s treated here — her humanity does.

Faith Without Pressure

God is welcome in this house. So is doubt. We pray, we sing, we read scripture — and we never make any of it a condition of belonging.

Structure as Love

Curfews and check-ins aren’t punishments — they’re scaffolding. The order around you is what lets you do the disorderly work of healing.

Family for Life

Graduation doesn’t end the relationship. Alumnae return for meals, mentor new residents, and remain part of this family.
